Built for a field, not a hall

Roundnet tournaments happen outside with no laptop and nowhere to put one. The whole organiser side is a phone: put a match on a net, mark it live, enter the result. Players get a QR code and check the pools on their own phones instead of walking back to whoever is running it.

Pools of four, then a bracket

Sixteen pairs draws as four pools of four — three guaranteed games each — with the top two of every pool going through to a quarter-final. The bracket is drawn at the same time and fills in as the pools finish.

Common questions

Does it work without signal?

Results, yes — they queue on the phone and send themselves when the signal comes back. The tables and the bracket stand still until the queue drains, because those are worked out from every fixture at once on the server. Setting the tournament up needs a signal.

How many nets do I need?

The format screen quotes a finish time against the number you enter. Sixteen pairs in pools on four nets is a comfortable afternoon.
